We sit so sadly on the sofa, where you sat safely between. Losing you my dear friend, I wished were only a dream. In the yard, amongst the flowers, where once you played, now forever at rest, your fragile body, I've laid. The memory of us dancing and singing will not disappear. All the beautiful memories I hold so tight, to keep you ever here. One day dear Tanna, we will meet, when I pass over too. I will hold you in my arms again, for now, in my heart I hold you. We went for walks, and shared a bath, or drives for sights to see. Sometimes just a cuddle on the couch to sit and simply be. Whatever we did, or wherever we went, you stayed so very near. This home is lost without you baby, I hurt for you're not here. But in a dream just last night, my departed Dad came for you. He walked the meadows, and kept you safe just as I would have too. Your time was brief, but you had a spark, and dignity to teach. I will hold you ever in my heart, til my arms again will reach. This is not good-bye my precious friend, for soon we will again play. At heaven's Gate you wait for us, to to be united again one day. Sit by the Gate dear Tanna, and welcome new souls there will be. You will forever shine dear puppy, all our love, Your Family.
